The doctor said that the tumor is indistinuishable from AVP, the benign condition. Of couse they look identicle, why wouldn't they? Next Wednesday is the soonest they'll know. In post-op, the surgeoun told me that he's never seen a lesion like this that wasn't a sarcoma, so my hopes aren't tooo high, really really want to know!
You are going to beat this thing, whatever it is! Positive thoughts, high hopes and prayers coming from around the world for you! We love you Corrie.
ReplyDeleteDocs don't know everything and haven't seen everything. I've had so many weird medical things that docs cannot explain and/or have never seen before. You are a wonderful amazing unique person and I'm sure there are many things they haven't seen before with you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying for you. Keep the faith my friend. :)
ReplyDeleteAnita- I so agree with you! Been there done that and continue to do it just as it sounds like you do. Docs don't know it all and thank goodness some admit they don't :) It is the "practice of medicine" right! Corrie will beat this, I know she will.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are up and about after your surgery! I will be keeping my fingers crossed that pathology report brings only good news.
ReplyDeleteOh BTW, have 2 pieces of that cake--you certainly deserve it!
Hi Corrie. This is mystery woman, Erin (sorry-tried to post a photo but was told the file was too large- better than telling me something else was too large!) Just wanted you to know that I think of/pray for you daily and as I come to know you through this blog I have to agree with Blanca- you WILL beat this (whatever it turns out to be). You have a strong spirit and a beautiful family and those will be your strength throughout this ordeal. Then you will probably be a cancer crusader or something of the like! :) Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteI love you. I hate weird lesions that look like cancer. And I especially hate cancer.
